I paid $27 plus $2 tip for 2 huaraches for lunch. I should have opened the order in the restaurant but I didn’t. Maybe I am cheap but the quality and what was given to me should have been at most $9. The tortilla was completely hard, I could not cut it with a knife. The lettuce was already wilted and the chicken I got was shredded. First time there and the last time I will go there. The employees were nice, that’s the good part.

Excellent food! I had the Chile Rellenos and wife had the Enchiladas. Both were superb! No lunch specials available but I think the food quality is more important than getting a deal. I would recommend visiting for sure.

Probably one of the best, if not the best, taco shop/mexican food restaurants in Birmingham. I do not say this lightly. We were just catered to our every need, on a random Monday night at 5:30pm. The service, the food, the quality of the meats! 10/10 would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for an easy and casual Mexican dinner. We were here about 3 months ago, and since then they have really stepped it up a notch. Their salsa is so smokey and delicious, along with their queso. They also have a truck on 4th Ave S that is exceptional. If you’re feeling authentic tacos, look no further than Taco Morro Loco in Avondale.

We stopped for a quick bite on our way to PCB. It was a good little find. I got the tongue tacos and ground beef. The tongue taco was full of flavor, would order again. My husband got the chicken taco salad. It was very small but had great flavor. Service was good and very clean place.

This is a hidden gem that most outsider probably never heard of. It's connected to a service station on the corner of fifth and forth street. There fish, shrimp and vegetable tacos were extremely good. The decor might not be all that but the staff and food more than made it for it. If you are in Birmingham, try it. Don't judge this restaurant by it's outer appearance. Try it

This place was astonishingly amazing. Too marks on food and service. The price was not so bad either. They guys there seemed to be genuinely concerned with getting our order correct and out quickly. Wish they had this in Monroe, LA, we’ll be back every time we’re in B’Ham visiting. Highest rating!

Food was delicious. Fish taco was raw, no problem. I understand it happens. But, I requested just to take it off my bill instead of send it back. My server literally asked me if I already bit it and swallowed the food, obviously that’s how I discovered the food was raw. She tried to tell me that bc I ate a bite that she can’t comp it. Honestly was ridiculous. After going back and forth for a few mins, I had to convince her (she wasn’t even the manager) that the food was raw. She even inspected it closely to make sure I wasn’t lying. Very awkward and weird.

If your looking for authentic mexican tacos this spot has them. The meat is cooked just right, not much fat and a good taste. Nice thick double tortilla so it won't get soggy when the lime and hot sauce is added, it comes with different sauces to add and a chile toreado that gives it the extra touch. They're not the ordinary street tacos since they're a bit bigger in size but with a great taste.
